Engineering Mechanics II

If we want to return to the beginning of the emergence of mechanical engineering, research will lead us to the seventeenth century when Newton laid out the most important laws of physics that were applied in a practical way at the end of the eighteenth century to be known as mechanics, and with the great industrial development in Europe, the development of mechanics and its applications began.

Major in Mechanical Engineering
It is a science concerned with the study of energy in all its forms through its focus on forces and movement, and this made it relevant to all areas of life, such as aviation, engines, machines, transport, energy transformation and all of its money related to the movement of production and industry. Mechanical and the ability to apply it successfully in addition to having the necessary skills to design and operate machines and analyze complex systems and return them to their simple elements and link them with the rest of the engineering that complement each other, where the student studies in this college for a period of 4A 5 years specializing in one of the terms of reference of this geometry of the many that we will remember them:

1- Car Mechanic.
2- Aviation mechanics.
3- Power mechanics.
4- Marine mechanics.
5- Mechatronic.

During the study of mechanical engineering, the student learns in the first year mathematics, physics, materials science and other basic subjects to enter into and study mechanics, to learn during the following years about the sciences that are considered to be the basics of mechanics, and we will mention them:

1- Kinesiology.
2- The science of stillness.
3- Mechanics of materials.
4- Engineering measurement tools.
5- Control.
6- Thermodynamics.
7- Fluid mechanics.
8- Mechanical design.
9- Mechanics of machines.
10- Engineering drawing.
11- Air conditioning and refrigeration.

Upon graduation, the student obtains a license in mechanical engineering.

Why study mechanical engineering?
1- Upon understanding and understanding the basics of mechanics, a person is able to achieve the desired success in any field.
2- A mechanical engineer can work in many areas that achieve good financial returns.

6- A mechanical engineer can provide his services to the various scientific, industrial and service institutions and contribute to solving the problems or obstacles that these institutions face.

Fields of work for a mechanical engineering graduate
As we mentioned previously in the previous paragraph, a graduate of mechanical engineering awaits broad fields of work, as he can work in one of the following areas:

1- Study and implement water feeding projects for cities and population villages.
2- Designing and maintaining mechanical units, vehicle engines, aircraft and industrial machines.
3- Industrial companies, who supervise power generation devices, design and implement heat and cold systems.
4- Working in broad fields of science and technology, such as robotics, nanotechnology, biomedical applications, and others.
5- Oil installations.
6- Heavy equipment factories.
7- Providing engineering consultancy.
8- Academic teaching.
