Computer Animation

 




Computer Animation, It is easy to tell the difference between traditional animation and computer animation: traditional animation uses methods that do not include digital tools, whereas computer animation methods use - as you know - computers.

 

Another way to distinguish between the two is the actual versus the virtual; Traditional animation uses physical materials and activities, whereas computer animation uses virtual materials in a digital space.

Computer Animation Traditional 2D animation and stop-motion animation fall into the category of traditional animation, although both eventually use digital imaging methods.

 

What matters is the way to produce the animation itself. Cel animation involves hand drawing, manual inking, and hand-painting of thousands of frames on clear discs that are viewed against painted backgrounds and shot in fast sequence, while stop-motion animation involves working with physical models and objects captured on one camera at a time.

 

This practical method requires a team of artists, hygiene artists, illustrators, directors, background artists, and photography crews plus storyboard artists and scriptwriters to make the original concepts. For large-scale projects, the amount of time, labor, and equipment involved is astonishing.

 

Computer animation is cheaper and faster

If you are animation on screen, you are working with animation on the computer. 3D animation appeared on its own with computers.

 

Computer animation can be either 2D or 3D, however, 2D computer animation often involves simulating the traditional 2D animation workspace, bringing pen and paper into the digital environment to recreate the animation workflow and styles.

 

3D computer animation tends to include a hybrid of workflows after traditional timelines formatted to work in a virtual 3D space.

 

Computer animation removes the need for any additional tools required to create an animation; All you need is a computer with sufficient system requirements to run a 2D or 3D software application of choice and skilled people able to use this software.

 

Depending on the type of animation required, the process can sometimes be fully computerized. In other cases, as in many 2D "animation" cartoons, it is still necessary to use manual pen drawing before it is scanned to a computer to be digitally colored and sequenced.

 

Computer animation is much less labor-intensive and much cheaper. It comes with a larger error margin because you can undo any errors in digital files up to a certain number of steps.

 

In many cases, the animation is difficult to classify strictly or otherwise, as many animators take a hybrid path in which certain parts of the animation are produced using traditional patterns before they are supplemented or improved upon using digital methods.
